Mental Health Student Internships

Main Street offers internships for students seeking their Bachelor’s or Master’s in the mental health fields of social work or clinical counseling.

Our master’s clinical internships allow students to gain experience with private practice, individual, couple, and family counseling, and experience with the required administrative work and documentation.

Our undergraduate internships allow students to experience supervised visitation and parent education for families involved in child protective services, where children are in foster care, and parents are working on the reunification of their families.

Based on availability, internship hours include day, evening, and Saturday. Internships can be flexible if all Main Street’s requirements and the school’s criteria are met. No previous experience is required.
