Community Backpack Event

Join us for our 2nd Annual Community Backpack Event and help your family get ready for a successful school year! This free community event brings together school supplies, essential resources, and community partners to support local families as they head back to school.

*Note this event is for residents of Sherburne County and/or Intermediate School District 728.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, August 8
• Time: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Location: Boys & Girls Club
• Who: School-aged children and their families
• Cost: Free

Families will receive a backpack filled with school supplies (while supplies last) and have access to a variety of free resources and services, including:

• Backpack and school supply distribution
• Shoe distribution (while supplies last)
• Fresh produce distribution
• Community resource fair featuring local organizations
